Nail Art: Pastel Gradient

This was a super cute gradient I did awhile back! Colours used were Misa Pinky Promise and Makeup Store's Young. The method I used to create this gradient was to use a sponge. I painted a strip of each colour on the sponge and then dabbed it along the edge of my nails to blend them together.

Spring Wardrobe - Makeup Store Young

Spring Wardrobe is a new series on Nail Juice, suggesting easy to find, beautiful polishes for Spring! Don't forget to check out the Spring Wardobe series page!

My mum brought back Young with her from Australia, I am so glad she did! I have been smitten with it ever since. One of the best polishes I have ever used.

Young packs a little more punch than Essie's Borrowed and Blue or Color Club's Take Me To Your Chateau or Blue Light.

I kind of like Young's name as it reminds me of my hometown. There's quite a lot of horticulture and agriculture, my dad is right into all that sort of stuff, and he has always known several Chinese families named Young. My sister and I went to school with their kids and everything, a nice bit of nostalgia I suppose.

It's always nice to go back and remember the good and less stressful times in life :)
