China Glaze Glam over OPI Panda-monium Pink

          I found these whilst browsing my folders :) Thought I posted them but I guess I forgot hehe.

This is China Glaze's Glam over OPI's Panda-monium Pink.

I really like how sparkly it is in the sunlight.

Essie Mademoiselle

It has been the longest time since the last time I wore a sheer pink! And as boring as it seems... I am quite enjoying it :)

This is Essie's Mademoiselle. One of their bestsellers I think. 

It really is a beautiful sheer pink. I am wearing three coats here only because I accidentally added a bit too much to my thumb... It looked so nice as two coats as well, a crisp clean nail pink. 

First coat was a little streaky for me though. The formula is really good, not too runny, not too thick. Just right.

Not really too much to say about a sheer pink... :)

Orly Top 2 Bottom

I've been using this as my base coat and my top coat for my manicure since I got it last week and I can't believe how great it is!

My manicures have been lasting 3 days. I've never had that before! They would probably last longer I just get tired of looking at the same thing on my nails for 3 days :) I will have to give it a trial!

AS A BASECOAT

No staining or yellowing nails so far. No chips or peeling.

AS A TOP COAT

Works really well with Orly polishes, dries them as if I used Seche Vite. But with other brands like Essie, it doesn't quite dry it as quick. But I did an Essie manicure tonight and used Top 2 Bottom as my base and Seche for the top coat and it's dried quickly.

OVERALL

I think I will have to buy a full size bottle of this stuff. I'm just blown away. I usually don't care for the mini treatments in packs but I am so glad I got to try this! 

Definitely reccomend :)

Pretty Floral

How are we doing today? :)

I saw a design like this somewhere recently. For the life of me I can't remember >_< (Please let me know if it was you so I can give you credit! :) )

Well once I saw the design, I fell in love with it and tried it this morning. As pictured, I used Seasonal Peach for flowers, I'm Ok You're Bouquet for flowers, Done Out In Deco for flowers, Gumdrop for the base colour, Peppermint Patti for the lighter leaves, Jade Is The New Black for the darker leaves and Oooh La La for the white part of the flowers.

I didn't practise beforehand so I was hoping my colour choices would work out well together and I was pleased with the result :)

STEPS:

1. Paint your nails your chosen base colour.
2. Dab the corner of the brush onto your nail for the flower. Use a couple of colours and mix them up a bit.
3. Get your lighter green and make sure you wipe almost all of the polish off of your brush and apply your brush straight down onto your nail. So its like a 90 degree angle between the brush and your nail.
4. Do the same with the darker green.
5. With your dotting tool/toothpick/small paint brush apply the white in a small short spiral :)
6. Apply topcoat!

Orly Sweet 2010: Lollipop

Hi again :)

Tonight I have Orly's Lollipop to show you. 

I was so excited to see this in-store! I purchased the mini Sweet pack which contains a mini of Lollipop, Gumdrop and Lemonade as well as a Top 2 Bottom, which is like a base coat and top coat all in one.

The chemist must have also had the larger sized bottles at some point because there was a full size Pixy Stix (mum got that one :P). Also for my fellow kiwis, Life Pharmacy is having a sale on Orlys at the moment, 2 for 1. Great deal :D

Also a little more exciting news before the review, Essie has hit New Zealand! They are said to be in chemists and Farmers stores. I purchased mine from Life Pharmacy and got a free treatment like top coat or base coat with every 2 polishes bought. The latest collection we have is last years Winter collection with Mink Muffs, Angora Cardi, Chinchilly and the navy and neons.

Ok back to Lollipop!

The formula was a little streaky on the first coat, but evened out fine on the second. I felt it needed three coats to look finished though.

It dried fairly quickly and I have worn it for almost three days now and not a single chip or peel!

OPI My Private Jet

I'm pretty sure i've shown you this beauty before, but shes still as beautiful as ever :) OPI's My Private Jet.

If I did have a private jet, I think it'd be pretty awesome to have one this colour...

I think OPI didn't really well on this shade! But alas, they had to go and change it three times didn't they?

I will have to pick up that less holo one with the teal flash sometime.

I think I used three coats here. It is a little on the sheer side, but easily fixed over your favourite vampy shade. My Private Jet does have a somewhat warm cast to it, like it is a very dark grey brown. It's interesting and I like it.

I like how it sparkles even in the shade :)
