MAC Varicose Violet

Aww I hope I haven't disappointed anyone by posting this and none of the newbies... Sun is no good today so I decided to show you something I did a little while ago.

I came across this pretty polish on my trip to the hospital. Varicose Violet is from MAC's Dame Edna collection just out.

Varicose Violet applies soooooo smoothly. I was expecting bad formula from MAC, but it proved me so wrong. I love MAC polishes now, wish they had a better selection.

This is three coats, it is quite sheer. But buildable :D

Baby Blues w/ Gold Comparisons

Alright I don't know about you but I'm sick of looking at Spontaneous lol so I have some Baby Blue comparisons for you n_n

As you can see they are all extremely similar, baby blue hued with gold shimmer. From top to bottom we have Misa's Radiant, OPI's Baby Blue and OPI's Beverly Hills Chills.

I'm pretty sure Radiant isn't hard to come across (talking e-tailors here), I think it's part of their bright collection, not too sure on that. I don't know if you'd ever come across Beverly Hills Chills or Baby Blue. Someone on MUA has hit the jackpot with Baby Blue though, I think they found about 11 or something :D

Ok, three coats of each colour. First photo is in the sun... actually all of them are :) Just different angles to show you the shimmah!

Last pic is a very close side by side comparison. I think I prefer Misa's Radiant out of the whole lot :/ The one that took the least amount of trouble to get lol

China Glaze Spontaneous

Alright, here is China Glaze's Spontaneous.

I really like Spontaneous, I used two coats here. It's sort of between OPI's Do You Lilac It? and Purple With a Purpose, probably close to Zoya's new Malia. I'll still get it anyway :D

Went on very smoothly, but it is an older China Glaze so it sorta smells funny and it contains formaldehyde.

I did add some OPI Sheer Enchantment after this photo, but I had a shower and it all shrunk :( But I do have a lot of swatches stacked up for you!

Have a lovely day :) Back to house cleaning for me :/

Skittle Me Happy! OPI & China Glaze

I finally have some great pastel/bright colours for summer! Woohoo!

From thumb to pinky:

Cajun Shrimp - I have been lemming this forever, next is My Chihuahua Bites! This is only two coats and looks jellyish in the bottle and on the brush.

Gargantuan Green Grape - I always thought this polish was called Garangatuan Green Grape lol and I will still keep calling it that :D That is three coats and you can still see my tip.

Spontaneous - Why did I not discover this earlier? I love love love it! It will be a victim of loads of Konading :) Just two coats here, applies beautifully. Contains formaldehyde.

Verano - I saw this one in a salon and fell in love with it. A bright fuchsia with subtle shimmer. Will also fall victim to Konads. Three coats here, applies nicely.

Lavender Lingo - A little disappointed with this one, I was hoping it would be more purple. It's not very lavender at all... Three coats here.

You will get to see Spontaneous tomorrow :D

And here is what I wore to the hospital, Emerald Sparkle (two coats) with OMG used with a Konad design. Two coats of Poshe, makes ES super sparkly! Try it :)

OPI DS Reserve

This is OPI's Reserve from their Designer Series line. I've used two coats here. I really love Reserve and it's sad how it doesn't get much love!

OPI I Only Drink Champagne

This is OPI's extremely pretty I Only Drink Champagne, from the Night Brights collection. I'm not sure if these are being discontinued or what... They seem to be disappearing from some stores.

I used three coats here, I was going to leave it at two but I put a huge ding in my middle finger while it was wet n_n; So three it became.

I Only Drink Champagne is actually my Mum's polish, so I may have to buy my own now :D

China Glaze IDK

What a beauty!

This is China Glaze's IDK (I Don't Know) from their OMG collection, full of holographics. I think more companies need to release these, I'd love to see what Zoya and Misa would come up with!

Two coats was needed, no more. These polishes are pretty thick and opaque, you could almost do it in one coat!
